While we may be in-network with your insurance plan, insurance coverage varies by individual policy. We encourage all clients to contact their insurance provider to verify coverage, deductible status, copay/coinsurance, and any limitations related to nutrition counseling services prior to their initial assessment to avoid any unexpected charges.

What to ask your insurance provider
- Are CPT codes (procedure codes) 97802 and 97803 covered by my plan?
- Is ICD 10 (diagnosis code) Z71.3 covered by my plan? If not, what codes are?
- Does coverage change based on diagnosis code?
- Does coverage change if services are provided via Telehealth?
- Will sessions be applied to my deductible? If so, what portion of my deductible has been met?
- Do I have a co-pay or co-insurance responsibility? If so, what is it?
